Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Thai Society for Biotechnology (TSB) and the Asian Federation of Biotechnology – Thailand Regional Branch Office (AFOB–Thailand RBO), it is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the 10th Biotechnology International Congress (BIC 2026), to be held on 2–3 September 2026.

This congress serves as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration, and advancing scientific innovation across the biotechnology community.
The theme of this year’s congress, “Next Generation Biotechnology: from Research to Sustainable Global Impacts,” underscores the transformative power of next-generation biotechnology in translating cutting-edge research into real-world solutions. It highlights how emerging technologies such as synthetic biology, precision fermentation, genomics, and AI-driven innovations are converging to address pressing global challenges in health, food security, industry, and environmental sustainability.​

We are honored to welcome distinguished speakers from our valued partner organizations, including Biotechnology and Bioengineering Society of Taiwan (BEST), Korea Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (KSBB), Asian Federation of Biotechnology-Malaysian Chaper (AFOB-MC), and Society fir Biotechnology Japan (SBJ). Our collaboration with the AFOB Division on Biopharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology will provide valuable insights into the latest advancements in these rapidly evolving fields.
In addition, we are pleased to encourage the participation of high school students in research project exchanges, fostering early engagement in science and strengthening STEM education at the foundational level.
